About My Store

After losing my job to downsizing and being unable to secure another one, I decided to take a risk and open a store in my tiny hometown. That store, Baskets, Bunnies, Bears and More, was opened in 1999.

It is a retail craft and gift shop located at 321 Washington Street in the Historic Downtown of Cannelton, IN which sits on the mighty Ohio River halfway between Evansville, IN & Louisville, KY. Over the past several years as with many small towns, Cannelton has been hit hard by an economic depression. It is my hope that by taking one of the many vacant buildings in our downtown area and bringing it back to life that others will follow.

I offer a wide variety of merchandise including hand-crafted items, silk floral arrangements, memorial gifts (i.e. throws, music boxes, cherubs, etc), balloons, stuffed animals and all types of giftware. I can also produce a variety of personalized items such as t-shirts, mugs and ornaments using sublimation and make banners, signs and decals using cut vinyl.

I strive to provide quality products and quality service at a reasonable price. I am a one person operation so my customers are sure to get personalized service.
